Delete your GatePass+ account
This page explains how to permanently delete your GatePass+ resident account along with the personal information stored against it. The same options are available inside the mobile app under Settings → Manage account → Delete account.
Option 1 — from inside the app
- Open GatePass+ and sign in.
- Tap Settings (from the profile tab or menu).
- Scroll to Manage account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type your full name exactly as shown to confirm.
- Tap Delete forever.
You will be signed out and cannot sign back in with the deleted credentials.
Option 2 — request from this page (no app install required)
Email divine.drwa@gmail.com from the address on your GatePass+ account with the subject line:
Delete my GatePass+ account
Please include:
- The society / community name you belong to.
- The villa, flat, or unit number on file.
- Your registered full name.
We verify your identity, complete the deletion, and reply within 7 working days to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your name, email, phone number, and profile photo.
- Family members and emergency contacts you have added.
- Push notification tokens and biometric-login material.
- In-app preferences (notifications, remember-me).
What is retained, and why
For accounting and audit-trail purposes (required by local society management and tax regulations), the following records are kept with your personal identifiers replaced by an anonymous Deleted user placeholder:
- Maintenance payment receipts, gateway transaction references (Razorpay / PhonePe order or payment ids), and ledger entries.
- Society fund balance and collection records.
- Complaint and amenity-booking history.
- Visitor / entry logs that pre-date the deletion.
- Audit logs of administrative actions on the account.
These records cannot be linked back to you once your identifiers are removed.
Reactivating after deletion
A deleted account cannot be restored — your society administrator would need to re-onboard you if you want to use GatePass+ again later. If you would prefer to only pause access while keeping your records intact, use Deactivate account instead, which an admin can reverse on request.
